Dear friends, family, and random online bloggers, Welcome to my journey. In a little over a week, I will be starting an adventure that God led me to nearly two months ago. Some of you have heard it, and for others, this is new to you. And this blog is intended to chronicle this chapter of my life; my season in the desert.

Chris! That was totally awesome, blew me away! What an incredible age we live in. Unbelieveable--almost.
So great to see you, hear you, almost feel you!
I was just praying for you wondering when you were going to leave Gettysburg and head east. Boom! There you were "in my face" telling me. And so well done! (I love the little edits and sounds!).
You are very talented, creative, open to all God has for you. And I am asking God to "complete the good work that He has begun in you."
Ned
You're welcome. ;P
That was the most fun I've ever had editing a video. Especially since it wasn't my content! It was loads and loads of fun.
Peace.
Chris, nice vid. i am so jealous that you're in Gettysburg! i love Civil War history! Happy travels. i got to backpack through a little desert last week which was fun. Check out my pics and myspace blog (myspace.com/codybarringer) and i also put a video on you tube (search for: codyjb8) i love you, man. God bless
Hey Chris. Hope all you guys at Emmaus are doing awesome. I plan to come to the Sep 9th show and se you guys again. I just finished writing the article (after reading all of your addictive blog entries) and I was wondering if you could shoot me an email at laxpwil@yahoo.com so you could look it over. Keep following Christ and remember that your family is everywhere. I got some connections between here and Philly if you want them when you leave. But otherwise, keep serving.

Christopher! Great to see you. I tried to call a couple of times, and missed you. Then, I lost your #. Sorry about that. No real news (or reel news in this case). I'm glad you are finding friends along the journey. Love ya, man. Randy
You're being missed by your "family" here. It's good to read your blogs, but it's even better to see with our eyes that you are doing well.
By the way, my roommates and I are staying together for another year!! The relationships have been getting deeper and deeper and I wouldn't trade them for the world! I also just got a new job working in a local community center. I'll be doing elementary school after-school programs and family outreach. It's a job I have been praying to find for over a year. God is so faithful! This will be a great year.
Hey Christopher,
So, this is something I don't usually do and somewhat random(posting on a page of someone I don't know) but I've been following your blogs since I found it mentioned on Benjamin Washam's facebook (posted by Rachel Droogosma), and having enjoyed reading about the journey God's been leading you on. So... do you need a place to stay in Philly? I live in Philly, and there's space on my floor (if you don't mind cats). Or, if you'd feel weird camping out on a girl's floor, I'm sure one of my guy friends wouldn't mind hosting you. Let me know.
Thanks everybody for your comments, every one I read is so refreshing and encouraging!
Cody! I tried to call before you left but I was too late!! I need your e-mail address! Mine is posted on the blog so shoot me a message!
Ali, Iglad to hear from you. It was so fun to see you drive past when I was headed out of town!
And Krissy, thanks so much for the offer, I may end up taking you up on it. But if not, I would be more than glad to meet you when I arrive. Send me an email if you can and we'll make it happen!
Hey!
So you don't know me, but Tim Ross told me about you and the awesome journey you're taking!! How exciting! I've read some of your entries, but not all of them. It feels like I'm reading a fiction novel: I love your writing style!
Anyway, my name is Ari and I live in Minnesota! Yay! Go us! Tim told me that if you and I met we'd get along really well. I totally agree.
Have fun in the town of Ghost Tours and Double decker bus rides. I've been there. I feel bad for you. At least the community at Emmaus is awesome. :)
Anyway, this is getting long...and it's later than I'd like. Sooo...good night! Take care of yourself, keep Tim in line! :)
You make me chuckle.
